Sprites Make it a Choice, not a Given - Balancing the Corruption & Crimson

yudgefudge

The Destroyer
Since the dawn of time (well actually, since 1.2), it's been a given which evil biome to pick. Expert, corruption, any other time, crimson.
That's not nice, I wanted to make them actually a tough challenge to pick between!
First, let's do some enemies!
~~~Enemies~~~
The Corruption has less unique enemies than the Crimson like two pairs of enemies are basically the same thing wtf so, I wanted to right that wrong!
Brain of Confusion
Boosts damage by 40%, movement speed by 250%, and melee/firing/casting/minion speed by 15%, but the player is infinitely confused, and it cannot be removed.
I'd like suggestions on what to fix next!
The brain seems way too overpowered now, and you could just re-bind you keys to negate the confusion debuff. Also why is that enemy called Gary?
First of all I'd like to say that the Demon Eye is NOT an enemy belonging to the Crimson biome, so there is no reason to make a counterpart of Corruption.
Another thing I want to say is that I don’t know what enemy is this "Spectral Snail" that you left as a base to make a counterpart of the Corruption biome;
AND, as was said by @Storm Diver Ω , Why is that enemy called Gary?
and you say: Because Spongebob.
What by god Sponge Bob has to do with Terraria????
nice suggestions! Considering 1.4 is reworking and adding a bunch of biomes, hopefully something like these gets added as well :)
Well, crimson is a perfectly viable choice in expert, but corruption does need buffing in normal.
