Resolved [Mobile] New Player-Need Help

Hello! I've done several Google searches and I can't figure out what these are. Underground in the ice biome, blocks of what look like demon eyes or dripplers all stuck together. I can't strike it with any tools or weapons. What is it?

Those are Crimson Altars. They are used to craft certain items for summoning bosses (and a very powerful sword). You can't destroy them yet, but you will be able to once you're in Hardmode.
