Game Mechanics More ways to obtain Heart Crystals

I like the 2nd and 4th ideas, and not the 1st. I could see the 3rd idea working, but what would the ingredients be?
 
I like it, but it has some flaws. other than that I think it should be sold by the dryad for 7.5 gold (due to the sell price of one being 1.5 gold) after the Eater of worlds/ Brain of chthulu has been defeated
 
how about a hardmode boss drops them for they should be found before pre-hardmode as the only way to get them.
i don't like the idea that much but with some balancing and work it would be great.
