I think it would have been fine, if you made the eye actually fill the hole.

I was really rusty at spriting and I wasn’t really sure how to shade that spot, so I just made it black without thinking about it lol

Tried watercolor. The bottom left looks weird because I accidentally destroyed part of the paper with my brush and I digitally removed the seam from where I glued a new piece of paper over the ruined part

Looks great, and the seam is completely unnoticeable

I have to agree with you on that!

These feel like something that could be put into Risk of Rain 2, to be honest. (And yes, that's a complement! These look fantastic!)
