He could notice the being approaching him, the shrapnel floating around them like some sort of protective shield of some kind.

They would hover closer to Harris, holding up one of their hands at them as Harris would feel himself levitating towards them slowly.

He manages to get free, though is now flying between the spikes and has to maintain his direction otherwise the obvious will happen.

Luckily for him, the impalement isn't fatal currently or after they are removed, though he is going to be rather woozy afterwards.
That, and the pain he's currently getting being rather hard to ignore.
But good for him, he's just a couple feet away from the end of the spike rows.

Not so luckily is that several dark shadowlights are now flying at him.
