Switch Ocean pylon doesn't work in ocean cave

So the ocean pylon doesn't work in ocean cave does anyone know if I can make it into another biome or is it a cave biome already I really don't want to get a universal pylon

Can you show a screenshot of where you’re trying to place the ocean pylon and what error you’re getting? If it’s too far down, it will count as the underground layer and not the ocean which may be your problem.

I tried moving the cave pylon and it worked and I also tried to buy the cave pylon but no matter what npcs I put in that base I wasn't able to buy any type of pylon and anyone I put there always mentioned that they were in the ocean

It may just be too far from the surface ocean to use the Ocean pylon, yet not deep Enough to count as the cavern level to use the Cavern pylon.
