PC Performance Issues With Zooming

When zoomed in, my fps is halved, which doesn't make sense at all to me since when the game is zoomed, I would think it shouldnt have to draw stuff off-screen.

Whenever I zoom in, tiles become invisible for a second. Sample video below.

I merged these two threads since they were related.

This looks like it might be a Retro/Trippy lighting issue. Can you try this with Color/White?

Dude I have the exact opposite problem. When zooming in my FPS goes up. I'll make a thread and link it here

Neither of these issues happen on Colored

That's good! It means these issues are related to the White/Trippy/Retro problem we are looking into. There are some fixes for that coming in the next hotfix!

PS: I never tested White so I don't know if it happens their or not.

I assumed Color/White would run on the same system thus being the same

Each of the 4 has its own system, and something broke down with all of them except Color, as I'm led to understand it.
