Plantera drop clarification.

On the Wiki, it says Plantera has a 25% chance to drop the Pygmy Staff. Is that a 25% chance on the first kill only, or a 25% chance on every kill? I have killed Plantera a total of 28 times and have not gotten the staff so I am assuming it is a first kill only drop. The chances of me not getting the staff after that many attempts is 0.0375, or less than 1 in 3000. It seems stupid to ask this question knowing those drop rates, but it conflicts with what the wiki says so clarification would be appreciated

I fight Plantera on all the time. Usually, I get the Pygmy Staff every 3 times I kill plantera. What's probably happening is that you have extremely bad luck or it's a bug with your world and you can't get the pygmy staff. If that's the case, then just kill the 3 mechanical bosses in a different world and kill planters in that world.

28 times is pushing the laws of probability, I suspect something is wrong with your game/world.
