this isn't really a bug report... please clarify, is the map and character in the correct map etc.? Leave some more information then just all caps and what is wrong, without explaining if you did anything, or if it just happened randomly.

Were you using mods? If so you need to reinstall the latest Mod Loader.

Your world and player files should be in /Documents/My Games/Terraria. Are they there?

Shut down Terraria if it's running. Then delete your config.json and favorites.json. Restart Terraria (you will have to set screen resolution etc again) and check if they are there.

You need to get rid of the shortcuts.

Okay, your player files are a bit of a mess. Somehow you or someone else (little kids? cats?) managed to create shortcuts to several player files. Those are useless as far as Terraria is concerned and should be deleted.
Next, your X-ag.plr file is missing (is that the one you want?). Check if it's in the trashcan. If not, you do have a backup called X-ag.plr.bak. Remove the .bak in the name to use it.
