Blocks & Decoration Rainbow Paint

Ever since i saw rainbow bricks i was sad that there wasnt a rainbow paint, so every block could be rainbow. So my suggestion is a rainbow paint that makes colors cycle like rainbow bricks do. Maybe it could be sold by the painter when they are living in the hallow, or dropped by rainbow slimes like the rainbow bricks.

Unfortunately, Terraria's engine doesn't support the adding of new paints.

The engine can’t support new paints, but it might be able to support a new coating…

This has been suggested a few times before, not to mention there was sort of a red herring in this Labor of Love reveal image:

which unfortunately turned out to just be a spoiler for the Zenith seed, in hindsight.
I'd be happy for rainbow shifting paints to finally exist, but considering the developers have been silent about the idea I'm not sure if it can happen.
