He seems to be changing his wings to more resemble bird wings.

His front half is gaining more avian traits, and feathers.

"*I find a lot of species changes go too quickly for the process to be seen.*"
His tail is shortening and gaining what looks like fur, but definitely isn't.

"*True, though it does somewhat depend.*"

"*Yeah, it does mean less pain, but it just feels too fast, weirdly.*"
His head would mold itself to a bird-like head.

"*And this is painless to do.*"

"*Yeah, I know. Hence why I like it.*"
He'd finish up the changes.

"*I like both, but I think being a gryphon feels... warmer? Maybe it's just because I'm an ice wyvern.*"
