Well, a railgun would usually use something bigger than a bullet, its barrel being an electromagnetic rail that launches a projectile out at insane speeds. So rockets would be closer to useful to such a thing size-wise than bullets.

Well if a grenade launcher shoots rockets, I see no reason why a railgun wouldn't.
A railgun isn't really that original though, is it?
