To be fair, there are armors made of things that don't even exist, so it makes sense that there's better armor.

The other day, I had to replenish my Crystal Bullets in the middle of a Skeleton Prime fight. The Arms Dealer seemed quite content to sell me two stacks of Musket Balls in the few seconds before he died.
