UPDATE: I defeated the Wall of Flesh, using the Mini-shark and Meteor-shots and a very very long bridge and a whole LOT of Luck! ^_^

I always play melee so I had full molten armor, Demon scythe, mana potions and one heck of a long hell bridge. I beat him in about 3 minutes. The hell bridge is vital. And I spent at least an hour in the underworld mining hellstone. I also had to make sure I had enough obsidian skin potions as well do I could stay down there to get at least 300 ore. And it was worth it. A sharanga is also a damned good weapon against WoF as well.

Even though I play melee I always grab myself a minishark and a phoenix blaster because it's safer. A Molten Fury or a Flamarang would be a good idea too. And if you die with all that and molten armor and heal potions...You've met a terrible fate, haven't you?

there's no need to get more helstone for armor, cause when you get to Hardmode you can get Cobalt armor which is better than molten anyway :3 that's what I did on my mobile LP

Use a minishark molten armor and a flamarang. also make a Hell-Bridge
