Why else would I want them? The other liquidfall blocks are aesthetic only, so obviously this would be too.
Plus, they'd produce a great light.

Here’s what they could look like. I made these sprites awhile ago for my own post about Shimmer items.
As a builder I would love these items. Also, Shimmer droplets could be added to the Aether during world generation, giving the biome even more ambience.

Its rare to make a shimmer house because its hard to get aether blocks without wasting the one shimmer lake. You would have to wait until post moon lord if you want it to be useful. And yes i still want it

I used to makes sprites for my own suggestions but now I’m focused on making art for a personal project that’s not related to Terraria.

Same here, I was inspired by them and actually might end up making a sequin wall
either from shimmerwalls or shimmerwalls USA. Hope the devs add some kind of wall art like this to give the biome more ambience.
