Weapons & Equip Some more uses for Frost Cores and Forbidden Fragments

I have some ideas for Forbidden Fragments and Ice Cores...
Ice cores
A hardmode version of the Snowball Cannon and some new snowballs!

or

(it looks like a snowman cannon because i just combined snowman cannon's textures with it, sorry but I lack any sprite creation skills)
Snowball Cannon Mk2
Stats
Damage:38
Speed:8
Knockback:1
Velocity:10
33 chance to not consume ammo.
Tooltip: "Don't bring a snowball to a snowball barrage!"
Recipe: 1 snowball cannon,1 frost core,10 souls of might,illegal gunparts.
Some new snowballs...I think it would be a fun way to add more ammo for this baby, but also make new throwable weapons as well.

Recipe :1 snow block 1 ice block--->15 pieces

Frostburn Balls
Recipe:15 snowballs 1 ice torch
Damage:13
*inflcts Frostburn effect"
Yellow Snowballs
Recipe:15 snowballs 1 ichor

Recipe: Ice Bow+1 frost core+ 10 souls of light

Use time:18(Very fast)

Forbbiden Fragments
Magic carpet
Recipe: 1 Flying Carpet 2 Forbbiden Fragments
Ability:They are wings,they fly orizontally like the hoverboard and it can also hover,but...if they player can dash then the carpet will summon a rapid sandstorm to the direction of the player and use 100 mana for that attack(it will do 70 damage and pierce through enemies), the sandstorm will be the same height as the one summoned from the Forbidden Armor.
Scorpion tail
(sprites needed)
Idk if it should be a spear or a sword tho.
Recipe: 1 mandible blade 10 souls of night and 1 forbidden fragments.

EDIT: Elemental Sword/ Frozen Tail (changed the recipe from night's edge and excalibur to frostbrand and scorpion tail)

Recipe: 1 Frostbrand 1 Scorpion Tail 1 dark shard 1 light shard 10 souls of night 10 souls of light 1 frost core 2 forbidden fragments and a broken hero sword (too much ,am I right?)

Knockback: 5.5 (Strong)
Critical chance: 4%
Use time:15 (Very Fast)
It shoots projectiles similar to ice queen's wave attacks(also pierces enemies)
Special ability:Elemental Wave Blast, it would look like this:

- 0:18 ; and it costs 200 mana and deals 350 damage,pierces enemies. The ability would be activated with right click mouse button.
Tooltip:"A blend between light and dark,frost and sand and magic"

We have the Flying Carpet that you can fly horizontally for a brief time and I think it would be a good idea to upgrade it with Forbidden fragments since it comes from the desert.

I was a little disappointed when I first found out that the Frost Core could only make armor, so I fully support this idea (especially the sword, I think it's really cool)!
If you want, I can make sprites for ya, if I have the time.

Excalibur already has an upgrade, so it would be better to use a different weapon. As the Frost core upgrades the Snowball Cannon in the suggestion, the Sandgun and the Mandible Blade would be more appropiate, as both are pre-HM weapons related to the crafting materials' respective biomes.

I can get behind a Flying Carpet upgrade - we could use an intermediate step between the Flying Carpet and the Hoverboard for early Hardmode. Maybe make the Magic Carpet a type of wing that's slightly better than the base angel/devil wings, with hovering ability.

As for the idea of a Mandible Blade upgrade, maybe call it the Scorpion Tail and make it a weaker Solar Eruption, without the ability to pass through walls.

That would be great! Some of the pics I posted are made i MS Paint, so I would appreciate some sprites!

That would be cool too,though I would suggest to not use it around your house( you don't want sand to fill your town,lol) . I thought about something else with the sword. What if we combine the Frostbrand and add a mandible blade upgrade like Wyvernil said , and combine both and the rest to make it?
As for the Scorpion Tail it could be a spear tho that shoots projectiles similar to the antlions. So, Scorpion Tail( i like the name tbh) + Frostbrand+1 light shard+1 dark shard+10 souls of light+10 souls of dark+1 broken hero sword--->Elemental Blade. I thought about the souls of the mechanical bosses, but it would either require it to be multiupgradeable sword(not a bad idea) because it would be annoying to have a long list of items to make it. Maybe more smaller steps are better than a huge step.

Uh well alright, I'm kinda busy right now, so I can't make new sprites right away, but I did have an old sprite laying around, which I also called the Scorpion Tail.
It was intended to work the way Wyvernil suggested, except the tail would fly straight, and only the tip would hurt, like the Harpoon.

Only problem is that it's based off the Sand Poacher's actual tail.
