Structural Question

Random question because I don't want to take any risks -

If I actuate the stone blocks keeping the lava contained directly parallel from the two openings on the bridge, will the lava flow directly downwards, or am I setting myself up for a disaster?

The lava should flow directly downwards. You could always test with water first then if it works replace that with lava!

You can also try a waterfall with lava or a lavafall block/wall if you'd like a safer visual alternative. (They're no good for a trap, if that's what you're building.) Note that lava will dislodge most non-Obsidian furniture and destroy any object with White rarity (with some exceptions). The torches, for example, would be destroyed if the lava was released.

It is a trap - I do know the torches would go, but I didn’t want it to make a total mess!
