Dart traps, teal pressure pads, and actuators work quite well in combination with each other. Dart traps can activate teal pressure pads to send a signal, and actuators can stop the transaction. This thread will demonstrate many of the uses of these tools.
When the dart fires, it shoots past the de-actuated block and goes to the teal pressure pad. The pad sends the signal to the one time whatever and turns the block solid. From now on, the dart will be stopped by the block and not power the one time whatever. To turn the contraption back on, just de-actuate the block.
This randomly chooses for one signal or another to be sent. The faulty gate switches the actuated and de-actuated blocks half of the time. The unactuated ones allow their respective darts to make it to the pads and send a signal
The dart will power itself with the pad and as a result will keep going until the world is exited
This one can be toggled with the switch.
The switch will be flipped and the torch will toggle a bit later.

As great as using darts for custom delays is, for long timers they take up alot of space. To make your dartstone a little smaller, consider using timer cascades. This contraption can only be used once every 60 seconds, and will ignore all other flips of a switch. Input with the red wire up top, output with the blue wire a bit to the right of it.
