I think we're having another crossover in addition to Dead Cells! Look at this enemy near the Tall Gate! It's very well hidden, but if you look at the picture long enough you'll see it:

These odd hanging glass capsules appear to contain something that looks like a demon altar and something that looks like a pot-shaped furnace submerged in purple and orange liquid, respectfully

It looked kind of like a summon weapon to me too.
But judging by how the summon item is a pink and green acorn, it's probably a light pet or normal pet.
