Have you ever played Forager? It's a cool game!
Today I bring some ideas related to this game.

This is "Crazy Crossover Ideas", let's get started!

- IDEA -

Forager has 3 things that could be cool to have in Terraria.
One of them is the fish trap, another would be the drones, which are much more useful in Forager, and the last would be the magic scrolls.
-
I will talk in detail about how I would like to have these items in Terraria.

- FISH TRAP -

Fish Traps are placed on the surface of the water and occupy 1x2 blocks of space.
-
Fish Trap works as a means of automating fishing.
It will collect anything that can be fished from the location you placed it.
-
The time it will take to collect something is random, just like the player when fishing.
-
You don't need to place bait on them all the time, as they will be connected to the player's inventory.
This means that as long as you have bait in your inventory, they will work.
-
Fish Traps are obtained exclusively as rewards from fishing quests.

- USEFUL DRONES -

My idea is a Drone in the Pet category.
Just as we have "Chester", which is the only pet with a function (this, separating normal pets from light pets), why not have more useful pets?

This drone would be called: "Droid"

The idea consists of a pet drone that performs several functions.

These functions are:

Pick up items from the ground;
-
Collect items from Fish Traps;
-
Indicate the direction of: Rare Enemies, Strange Plants, Chests, Crystal Hearts, Life Fruit and also the Bosses' potion.

The drone would do this by positioning itself in the direction of the objective in a close circumflex area around the player.
I made an image to illustrate, the drone would move following the red line.

- MAGIC SCROLLS -

The wizard will sell scroll paper.
Which costs 5 gold coins and is used to craft 5 different Magic Scrolls.

- Plant Scroll -

Crafting: 1 Scroll Paper + 1 Life Fruit + 10 Souls of Light

When using this Scroll, it will cause plants to grow in a circular area with 30 blocks of diameter.
Useful to facilitate the farming of Plantera, Extraneous Plants and more Life Fruit.

- Fishing Scroll -

Crafting: 1 Scroll Paper + 1 Golden Carp + 10 Souls of Light

When using this Scroll, everything that contributes to increasing fishing power (except the time) will be applied.
By this I mean rain, wind, moon phase, etc.
The only thing that won't change is the time of day.

- Battle Scroll -

Crafting: 1 Scroll Paper + 50 Rotten Chunk/Vertebra + 10 Souls of Night

When using this Scroll, enemy spawn (only enemies) will be increased by 1.5x for 10 minutes.

- Critter Scroll -

Crafting: 1 Scroll Paper + 10 Ladybugs + 10 Souls of Light

When using this Scroll, critter spawn (only critters) will be increased by 1.5x for 10 minutes.

- Peace Scroll -

Crafting: 1 Scroll Paper + 10 Crystal Heart + 10 Souls of Light

When using this Scroll, any invasion or hostile event will immediately end.

I think the ideas presented here were very good.

Quick correction though, pretty sure they're actually called droids in Forager. I'll go check real quick.
What if they can have various appearances like in the actual game?

This is even better for separating the item from the drone we already have in Terraria.

Upon detecting items on the ground or a Fish Trap with an item inside, the drone would fly to the location and collect the items.
The items would appear in the player's inventory the moment the drone touches them.
When finished collecting items, the drone would return to the player.
