My guess is that the code to spawn a wooden chest inside a large windy pathway hill generated this chest in the underground layer, thus producing a lonely golden chest instead of a wooden one. Fascinating.

Also interesting that Worldgen doesn't automatically generate it as a Mahogany Wooden Chest just because it's in the Jungle. It probably needs to go with a Jungle Cabin in that case.

Actually, you can't summon the solar eclipse pre-hardmode. The tablet doesn't do anything in pre-hardmode.
