Biomes & Nature the... calamity

Terrarian
i'd be interested in seeing a third evil biome--

the calamity.

it's a dead green colored biome, but unlike the other two, it's completely sealed off. there's a crater near the center where you can see the thinnest part separating you from the unknown. it's probably a good place to use a bomb..

the amity resource calls this place home:

amity wood

amity stone
etc.

The enemies would all (mostly) have low health and somewhat strong attacks, but would mainly focus on debuffing the player with 'ill,' which slows the player and does chip damage. it escalates in hardmode to 'plagued.'
the pre-hardmode enemies would be:

the ghoul, basically a souped up zombie; drops radioactive mass, shackle, coins

the plague rider, a large damaged crow that hovers above you before diving to attack; drops slimy feather, radioactive mass, coins

the swarmer, a version of worm that would squish apart, swarming the player; drops the hoarde, radioactive mass, coins

and, the hardmode:

the sludge, a slime that can inflict a debuff called plagued. it leaves a block of sludge to be scooped up; drops ooze, gel, power gel, coins

the boomslick, a very quick mob that rushes the player and pops one bloc before contact, coating the player in sludge; drops ooze, coins

the shrieker, a harmless mob full of harmful intent. she simply screams if the player gets close enough. this ups the spawn rate dangerously, but getting rid of her won't be easy.. she's got a beefy defense, and won't quit until she isn't there; drops boombox, deathweed, steel boots, ooze, coins

the fleshy leach, a worm that sticks to the player if hit, siphoning health from them and healing moderately dashing could remove it; drops leech charm, ooze, health potions, leech guts, coins

the fangler bat, an angler fish... mixed with a bat! this guy can inflict the debuffs blind, confused and plagued. it charges at the player when they're in water. they also provide a noticeable light until death; drops fierce grill, ultrairght headlamp, ooze, fang, coins

the bunny ratits, large rodents that hop and bite, they can inflict the debuff bleeding and plagued; drops moldy carrot, fang, ooze, coins

the windego, who can change appearance to that of an npc to catch the player off guard. it can flee before dying, but doesn't despawn until killed. there can also only be one spawned at a time; drops tainted meat, ooze, evil eyes, fang, coins

the glowing girl, a lost girl variant that is stronger and inflicts plagued; drops glowing pulse, glowing meat, ooze, face-like sheet, coins

the caverns would be modeled in a vaguely circular fashion, not necessarily as individual caves. the center would glow a faint green, barely enough for you to see.

the shadow orb equivalent would be the eerie cluster, and breaking three of theses would summon the calamitous scholar: a large, half decayed corpse with a missing leg. it would move slowly, leaving a small trail of sludge that would burn the player. after it takes some damage, it'd lose it's remaining leg and charge at you, now leaving a usable, thick liquid behind and spawning 1-2 small swarmers.

their attacks would be:
falling on the player
swinging its arms at the player
spitting a short stream of ooze on the player, inflicting a debuff called ill. similar to on fire, but a tad escalated
barfing up fleshy bats, which would have very low health, but move with much more control than regular bats
painful ooze

she would drop a treasure bag in expert, and in standard she can drop:

body snatcher
scholar trophy
scholar mask
fleshy limb
radiom ore
pulsing bone
healing potions
ooze
coins

the 100% treasure bag item is heat, an accessory that inflicts an ill debuff on enemies

eventually the new items will be delved upon, they kinda came up along the way

Good idea but you might wanna think of a different name. Calamity is already the name of a mod. I’m thinking something like... The Void.
