"Fair enough..""...This is where the camera was before..."
"So uh.. anything else? Like.. a lead or anything? I don't have any idea where we should go from here.."
He just slowly begins looking around..
"Fair enough..""...This is where the camera was before..."
"Fair enough.."
"So uh.. anything else? Like.. a lead or anything? I don't have any idea where we should go from here.."
He just slowly begins looking around..
Sirale would begin looking around too."...Tracks? Secret passages?"
Luis looks around, following Jack's example, as he looks for evidence of either.
And she'd walk to the vehicle and enter.Dark heads over to it silently, glancing at Eeva briefly.
"Hearing odd airflow, not wind."Sirale would begin looking around too.
"Well I certainly didn't see much of anything earlier, but I did assume that at worst we can reduce the directions to travel in to a roughly 170° range, as I doubt they would have come from the opposite end of our base. Not seeing any tracks left behind here either and while I wish I was that good I can't tell you if any leaves seem out of place from some flying vehicle either, all I can see is what we kicked up when we last came here."
Sure enough Jack and Luis would be unable to find much of anything either.
However, Ayita may pick up on a faint sound of what seems to be air blowing through trees, despite it not matching up with any current wind...
“Which direction?”"Fading now, but it was somewhat faster."
Dark enters as well in silence, looking at Eeva briefly. And she'd walk to the vehicle and enter.
(I'd imagine Ayita could give a rough direction to narrow it down but I don't remember what geography was already established in this roleplay, so...)“Which direction?”
Luis unfurls his wings, ready to take off rapidly.
Unfortunately it seems the trees are spaced out too densely to give a clear line of sight to any heat signatures..Jack silently turns his VOLT's safety off with a quiet click.
He would also reach up to the side of his helmet, fiddling with something.
"Going to take a thermal scan really quick.."
And with a click and a quiet whine from his helmet, he turns on a infrared capture for his display, looking slowly into the direction that the rough 170 degrees would be.
(They're in some forests between the mountains in a mountain range.)(I'd imagine Ayita could give a rough direction to narrow it down but I don't remember what geography was already established in this roleplay, so...)
And with another click, he shuts the infrared lens off.Unfortunately it seems the trees are spaced out too densely to give a clear line of sight to any heat signatures..
At the mention of robot, Seraph walks over.(They're in some forests between the mountains in a mountain range.)
Luis would take off to fly quickly in that direction after Ayita tells him that direction.
Meanwhile, at the base clearing...
Tempor gets up.
<<...hm. Who here is hungry?>>
"...A bit, I guess. Why?"
<<We're sort of idling here, aren't we.>>
<<Not doing much. When we should do anything to prepare for the upcoming battles ahead.>>
"..."
Draucon pushes off the tree he was leaning on.
"Let's go hunting then."
"...Hey!"
Pol waves her wing.
"Maybe we should train instead?"
"If we're gonna be fighting a...big bad robot, then we need to keep our skills honed and sharp!"
Pol looks over at them, Eve a bit wary of Seraph's imposing figure. And with another click, he shuts the infrared lens off.
"Foliage is too thick to see anything of note with the infrared scan. We're going in blind."
At the mention of robot, Seraph walks over.
"If you wouldn't mind, I can share my thoughts on how to best disable the various machines in Fluxxation's arsenal.."
Valthax looks over warily..
After assessing the situation, Seraph backs up a bit.Pol looks over at them, Eve a bit wary of Seraph's imposing figure.
"...oh?"
Draucon crosses his arms.
<...Can't be that hard for just me me to bag some decent food too though, I suppose...>
Draucon raises a hand a bit in dismissal. After assessing the situation, Seraph backs up a bit.
"I.. did not mean to derail anyone's plans.. you can consult me later if now is not a good time.."
"Oh.. alright then."Draucon raises a hand a bit in dismissal.
"No no, it's fine. I can take care of myself."
"Already did some solo hunting trips alone anyway."
"What's this about the various machines?"
Pol nods quickly."Oh.. alright then."
Seraph turns back to Pol and the others, oddly silent for how big the machine is.
"You've only seen general Xylith and an allied hostile so far, correct?"
