Weapons & Equip Third pillar weapon

We don't know the context of the "stardust whip" yet. It could be a Moon Lord drop, because we do know that the Moon Lord will be dropping a whip in the new update. It could even be replacing the Stardust Cell staff, since that's a weapon that people have always been dissatisfied with, although that idea seems extremely unlikely to me. If it is crafted from Stardust Fragments, and does not replace the Stardust Cell Staff, then yes, I do support giving the other Pillars a third weapon for equality's sake. But until we have more information, I'd rather reserve judgement.

The only times Relogic removed content was when it could possibly violate copyright laws (Icemourne and Soul Scythe) or when it was removing oldgen console content for cross parity. We have several redundant items still left in the game like Activated Stoneblocks that serve no real purpose anymore due to Actuators, but still remained anyways so I agree that removing a weapon just like that doesn’t sound like something Relogic would do

If the Stardust Whip were to replace the Stardust Cell Staff, I could see it's strike effect doing the same thing that the staff does currently (i.e creating cells that latch on to enemies and deal DoT).

Given nebulae are likened to clouds, I'd like to see a 3rd and final upgrade to the crimson rod with 3 separate, larger clouds you can spawn.
 
For solar maybe a yo-yo? We are lacking in endgame Yoyos for ml. It could be called the sundial or something. For vortex either a rocket or dart weapon. As for nebula some sort of upgrade to the aqua sceptre maybe? We have the golden shower already.

Their Terrarian is an endgame yo-yo dropped from moon lord and it is the second best boss extermination weapon in the game, beaten only by zenith. Terrarian
 
I believe that if theres ganna be a third pillar weapon then it should assume the support weapon category. because the 2 pillar weapons for each class fall into multitarget dps and boss dps. for example the solar eruptions good for invasions and the other pillars while the Day break is good for bosses. so forth with nebula ablaze and arcanum and vortex better and phantas.

since the whips play mainly a support role in summoner. The SOLAR pillar should get a weapon which may infflict a buff which can give passive healing, (Think of a yoyo called the golden sun, It will inflict a buff similar to honey but wayyy better regen and is used like a support weapon). The NEBULA pillar could have somthin like the nimbus rod or rainbow gun that tracks the enemy(passive dps) and VORTEX can have a rocket launcher, which can shoot out rockets which home and inflict some sort of debuff, like ichor but better.

I think these will be good 3rd wepons.

ADD SUPPORT PILLAR WEAPON!!!! WE ALREADY HAVE BOSS DMG AND MULTI TRAGET WEAPONS AT HOME





Also in my opinion the stardust whip should be an upgrade the fire cracker.
(cus of whip stackin' and modded terraria)

Like He said, A rocket ranger weapon would be redundant because of Moon lord dropping the Celebrations.

I think the Nebula third should be a rapid fire magic Gun, like Leaf blower.

I feel like all 3rd pillar weapons should fall into the support category but I feel like the rocket launcher wont be redundant because after the vortex beat u get the smdg and after the nebula arcanum/ablaze u get the last prism.
