What biome is your favourite to build your base/house in?

I like the original forest, and building with nature... it makes your house feel alive. Also like beaches but the downside of being on one side or the other isn't good for me. My main base is in the forest on stilts. And I have smaller outposts on the other smaller forest biomes. And they are wired so with a flick of a switch my entire base gets locked down , so no mobs can get to me.
