I am currently trying to collect all the developer vanity sets. I've killed Golem a grand total of 164 times so far and I've only got about half of the sets

I am at the moonlord in not-journey, legendary mode get fixed boi no exploit/cheat world
After 180 hours... I am almost out of my missery :joy:
Good luck, don’t give up. It may take a couple (or a couple dozen) tries, but it’ll be worth it. :)

You’re in the grind now. Keep collecting those treasure bags! Good luck.

I'm doing pretty good! I got him to 37k on the 4th or 5th attempt so it's looking good :joy:
Plus, other than the moon boulders, it's practically the same as master since projectiles do the same as master.

I did ittttt!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

196 hours on the world

Just got the zenith after so long, feeling good

I got the Yelets yo-yo in the game 3 times in a row!

getting murdered by a giant tortoise during my first Plantera battle when it was at 100 hp :/

Finished Ori and the Blind Forest Definitive Edition. I didn’t want to start a new game right now. Echoes of Wisdom is right around the corner, and I don’t want to leave a game halfway through, so I’ve opted to play Terraria again. Salty about not getting a golden mouse, I’ve started hunting for one. Standing still didn’t work, so I rant on a flat surface swinging my net. Took me only a minute before one appeared. Now I got all golden critters.

i've beaten classic mode moonlord with cobalt gear before

I reached 200 hour mark on my main character!

I think I’ve researched all furniture

This is one of my favourite stories

'note: I used to have no ways to buy terraria so I had to get a hacked version that eventually crashed & I had to delete it after beating king slime aka my 2nd boss'

I was once mining in the underground until I found the rumored mushrooms biome! My exitement was immesurable for such descovery but then it was cut with a message that horrified me to the core. "You can feel an ominous presence watching you"...The game gave up on the idea that I will one day find a suspicious looking eye so it summoned eye of cthulhu for me. That wasn't according to the plan of defeating king slime to get an appropriate loot to beat it & yes, I couldn't king slime at the time. So I drank every buffing potion I had, turned all my regular arrows to fire arrows, grabbed my platnum boy & Trusty katana, & stood waiting on top of the guide house for the impending doom.

& There it is, I kept trying to spam fire arrows but my aim is as miserable as you can imagine, luckily I had a red bush & my ghost friend kept chipping the eye from distance until the second phase has come, I know what to do now! RUN FOR YOUR LIFE!

As I was raining in the desert I drunk all of my buff potions & kept spamming fire arrows, I learnt from my past fight with king slime to fight the beast in a rather open area for manœuvring easily

as I was gobbeling unhealthy amounts of healing potions until I finally reached the place dubbed as "the plains of beginnings", since my village was on a high hill in the other half of the world & "the plains of begginings" is the central plains where I first spawned, kept dodging the eye by running in circles while chipping its health away with the ghost, a spear & all what I could land of fire arrows.

When it had less than 200 Hp, I stood out proudly! face to face or more accuratley face to mouth, as it charged to wards me I pulled my favourite finisher weapon!
Powered by the attack buff potion and the luck boost of 7 ladybugs, 1 single final blow from my kataka, & it was over...
I did it...I did it! I slayed eye of Cthulhu! said to myself in disbelif.

But my inventory was full so I had to teleport & dump some stuff & then loot it back & then gone to cry in my bed because that was very anti climatic. Why destiny made me leglally uncapable of being a badass!

anyways, when I woke up the next night, I was surprised to see the lanterns floating in the sky & the town night track played for the first time giving the scene a deeper meaning, the guide explained that the world is celebrating my victory. I stood there in awe & teared a bit...It was the best moment I had in this game. & I did what anyone would do in such situation, pulled out my karp paperplane.

This game is an experience man! this game is an experience

also...this is my old house, yes the gnomes at the balcony are kissing

I got the shell phone, angler armor, golden rod and net, and various fishing accessories on my main acc on switch.

I (somewhat) recently finished a pretty cool challenge run and decided I might as well share it here. I played this in Master Mode and it took a bit over 22 hours to complete.

The challenge is simple - Every boss I kill, I get to add exactly one item to my loadout. This item can be a weapon, armour piece, accessory, grappling hook, or mount. I also added an additional stipulation that the item that I get must not come later in progression than the boss (to prevent e.g. delaying pre-hardmode bosses until hardmode and stocking up on better stuff). The challenge was inspired by MrJFL (who's doing a similar run in the calamity mod but he's got more strict rules which includes buff potions and permanent upgrades like life crystals in the list of items, though calamity having more bosses than vanilla offsets this a bit).

This is the items I decided to get as my reward from each boss, in order (I decided to play drunk seed so that I could do both evil bosses in pre-hardmode):
King Slime (killed with lava) - Boomstick (imo the best pre-boss weapon)
Eye of Cthulhu - Bundle of Horseshoe Balloons (main mobility item)
Eater of Worlds - Worm Scarf
Brain of Cthulhu - Brain of Confusion
Queen Bee - Stinger Necklace (not a great pick but it's not like there's other options)
Deerclops - Molten Fury (needed a better weapon for wall of flesh and early hardmode)
Skeletron - Golf Cart Keys (combined with bundle and featherfall potion, this offers insane mobility for the rest of the run)
Wall of Flesh - Dart Rifle (this thing surprised me by being even better than I thought it would be)
Queen Slime - Star Veil
The Destroyer - Hallowed Helmet (easily the best armour set under the rules of this challenge)
The Twins - Hallowed Plate Mail
Skeletron Prime - Hallowed Greaves
Plantera - Frozen Shield
Golem - Elf Melter (both Tsunami and Stake Launcher are also solid options for this stage of progression, and so would Snowman Cannon if I could actually kill an Ice Queen)
Duke Fishron - Celestial Shell
Empress of Light - Recon Scope (replaces Stinger Necklace)
Lunatic Cultist - Phantasm

There's definitely alternate sets of items you can beat this challenge with. While I didn't initially intend for this to be a ranged only run, that's what it ended up as lol. Overall I think this was a cool challenge that forces you to think outside the box, and it's definitely worth a try if you're up for it.

Here's what my final loadout looked like:

back when mobile first updated to 1.3, I immediately went out and fought the moon lord ASAP.
I beat them first try.
My first ever fight with ML was a winning round.

I personally would've gone with honeycomb necklace for queen bee, I love the movement buff. Also would've gone with vortex beater due to high velocity bullets (I can aim, I don't use Chlorophyte).

I beat the goblin army on expert. I did ok but my forest neighborhood is now a graveyard biome.
