Ever found that there are some tough enemies you're constantly having to farm? They're not exactly bosses so you don't ask Fargo to make the mutant sell them? Ever had to farm a specific event boss? Well, look no further than:
Danew's Mini-Boss NPC Mod!

Currently adds:
2 new town NPCs: the Arch Wizard and the rare creature collecter!
Lots of new summoning items for both vanilla and modded enemies!
6 mods currently supported!

Already have most of those ready for the next update. But there was a few I missed so thanks! I probably won't add Betsy since Fargo adds a summon for her. I've already contacted fabsol/moutaindrew about calamity support I'm just waiting for a response. As for thorium, it's a little different. It only seems to add two mini-bosses who both can only be killed once and never again. As such, there drops a guaranteed so there's no point adding them. But I will bring the rest of your ideas on board!
EDIT: actually just remembered that thorium adds mimics, I'll probably add the keys to the shop then.

hmm... probably not. They're not really mini-bosses, there more like rare enemies. Perhaps in the distant future, but for now I'm just doing rare enemies from vanilla. Next update is adding an NPC to sell rare enemy spawns and I was always planning on it only being vanilla to keep the shop size fairly low. I knew someone would ask for this, but not before the update :p

because you have shellys and crawdads and that kind of enemy, can you add the sea snail too? it's helpful for getting purple dye and sea snail shells (calamity) thanks
also CALAMITY MOD SUPPORT WE NEED SUMMONS FOR: Earth elemental, Cloud elemental, Cnidrion and Plaguebringers. :)

EDIT: you know those hardmode fungus enemies? make summons for those because fungal carapaces from calamity aren't very fun to get

This mod is pretty nice,but i have some suggestions.First,there probably should be a spawn for the Stormlion and Cosmic Elementals of Calamity.They're not really minibosses,but rare enemies that are a bit annoying to farm.The price should be moderately cheap,I'd say 80 silver for stormlion and 1 gold for cosmic elemental.The items could be ''Stormlion plating'' and ''Cosmic Shell'.Second,i've always tough that it would be pretty cool if there was a item that made it so that the enemy wouldn't despawn,minions and NPCs wouldn't be able to attack or target it;or even make the creature not attack you(Unless if it's a boss,Ofc)The reason of this is simple,a ''Zoo'',of sorts,would be pretty fun to build.If you do include this,you should also include spawns for angry trappers(Hardmode,30 silver) giant and icy tortoises(Hardmode only,50 silver) and maybe for antlion chargers and swarmers(40 for charger,50 for swarmer.).There could be a npc called ''Zoologist'' that simply sells spawns for more common enemies such as the ones mentioned above.If you accept that,you could rename it to ''Danew's Zoo & Capture Mod''.Anyways,Really nice and helpfull mod.

Probably will add the calamity summons to the RCC (along with a few others I was recommended) in the near future. Probably not the in the next update, but soon :)
As for the item that stops enemies from despawning, I don't think it's actually possible. Unless they become a town NPC or something, they would despawn as soon as you leave the world. It's a still a cool idea and I'll probably still add summons for the turtles.
 
Hmm.Would it be possible to them atleast maybe make a item that summon NPC version of some enemies?The more animalistic and ''Interesting'' animals?I understand that it would require a lot of work to make a NPC version of each enemy in the game,so,would it be psosible to get atleast a NPC version of Antlion Charger/Swarmer,Tortoises and Basilisks?More could be added on the future,i don't know.Anyways,this is just a big wish of mine to make a terraria Zoo,So if you don't want to add,it's fine,it would take a lot of work anyways.Anyways,as said earlier,Great mod,i'm just sitting here using it to farm for items on calamity:merchantwink:
 
Can you please make Tim,Nymph,and devourer summons be sold in Pre-Hardmode?Also then i completed Old One's Army tier 1 Ogre summon appeared in Wizard shop.
And why summons for Red devil(it is in Mini-Boss section too) and Cloud elemental doing in event shop,and why Ice golem summon in Mini-Boss section(Blizzard is event,right?).And it si bit stange that summons for some evenr bosses appeared in the event shop the i only defeteated all vanilla bosses.(Test World)And can you please add summon for Crystal Mimic(Crystillium)And summons for Zootalo, Matriarch Zootalo,Undead Warlock,Squoma,Shnoot,Phobos,Peepers,Minotaur,Gelateen,Desert Princess,Banshe,Barmadillo, and different variants of Bicholmers(Tremor).And thanks that you created this great mod!:D
