Yes, this is a reference to another game, but I really don't think you'll get any trouble for it. The character is Hat Kid from A Hat in Time. There's another indie game called Tunche that straight up used this character as one of their protagonists and A Hat in Time's creators (Gears for Breakfast) were pretty supportive of this. I really think A Hat in Time deserves more recognition, because it's a great little indie, and alongside Terraria is one of the best games I've played in a long time.
So I guess we could name it the "Hat Kid set" or something.
My Vanity set is the Galactic Envoy Set. It consists of the Galactic Crown (The Head Vanity), The Cuirass of the Galaxy (The Torso Vanity), and finally, The Greaves of the Envoy (The Leg Vanity). Although there is a cape in the artwork, It isn't a mandatory part of the Design, and can be removed or left out.
This is the demogorgon from stranger things. It has no effect besides maybe a closed face mask. It encloses the whole body so there is no hair. Also not artistic so it kinda looks fat but It sounded fun to make.
It's supposed to be an Octopus (I'm not the greatest pixel artist )
Head - Octopus Mask
Body - Octopus Torso
Legs - Octopus Tentacles
Cosmetic Effects - I thought that when you get hit with the full set equipped, it will unleash a small explosion of ink. (Purely Cosmetic, though I'm not too sure if it's possible to do that.) The head is also a glow mask. Depending on the player's eye color, the eyes glow that color.
How to Obtain - Each piece is a rare drop from ocean enemies (0.5%)
I'm not too sure why I thought this would be a good idea. I just did.
I drew this on paint 3D, the overcoat should go down to waist, and the boots should go to knee height, i know it may not be as good as anyone else's, but at least i gave it a go!
Truffle Plate Vanity Set
Descriptions are provided alongside the design to help clear any confusion about the concept.
Perhaps Truffle could sell this vanity set?
Potential tooltip: "Hup Hup Hoii" (Noise Mushroom Knight makes when slaying enemies. His version of "Hip Hip Hooray").
Forgot to mention that the helmet should look like a wider metallic knight helmet version of truffle's head.
