As for the pic, how often does it happen? Have you tried clicking on it? Some minigames are unlocked by clicking on certain objects.

Clicking on him does nothing, he just sits there and disappears when you look away.
Does it have any effects on the props around or on Springtrap?

No, looking away just causes him to despawn, he doesn't appear to do anything at all...
...so it's likely Golden Freddy is just a hallucination in this one, nothing more.
It's a shame, you'd think he'd have a bigger role. :I

The biggest role GF has PROBABLY had is in 2, where he served as an actual AI in the custom screen.

Yep, also, I downloaded my image straight from his site. Anyways, what would the colors mean? They wouldn't be there anyways unless Scott intentionally put lighter, yellower, versions of the colors.
