    No, it wasn't with the command line, I was creating a .txt called Diagnostic essay, and upon saving it, my computer file names were all changed.

    I've been into WoW for a looooooong time.
    It was one of the first games I was introduced to, but I've been off and on with it.
    It's also the only MMO I can think of that I play, unless Destiny technically counts.

    How to know an MMO from an "MMO" in one single step.

    Is the game taking place in a somewhat open world where you are killing stuff alongside hundreds of players? If the answer is "no" then it's not an MMO (see: MOBAs, instance-based FPSs, instance-based online RPGs.)
