    People would be throwing just as much hate at it had it followed through with most of the spoken-of features, or at least I think so. Far too much hype. Hype never does well.

    I disagree - if something deserves the hype, the hype factor can add a lot more enjoyment into the game (for example: skyrim when it was first released). hell even if a game isn't as good as you expected, as long as it's still a good game on its own, the hype factor can make it be very fun

    basically at the end of every match, teammates and people from the enemy team can gift you with 'honor points" if they think you played well (Teamwork, Helpful, Friendly, Honorable Opponents are the different types of honor).

    If you have a high ratio between amount of honor and amount of games played, you're awarded with a ribbon. Each ribbon stands for something else (Great Leader ribbon represents teamwork, meaning that you communicate well with the team for example).

    They are special simply due to the fact that they are rare.

    I never got any of those, even despite getting tons of friendly/teamwork/honorable opponent honors.

    Yeah, i read about it and apparently if you don't get any for a very long time and/or the honors you get are from premade and/or friends, it's worth less than if it's complete strangers

    I know it does, but I used to get some from casual people like everyday, because I played a lot, then I play recently and still get a fair amount of honors from randoms, yet this still never happens.
