    The 505 support rep said that I should be able to backup the game data and then try to reinstall. Not sure where to find it...

    The link that diekonradish gave is correct. That shows how to backup the game data. It's done inside the game, so hopefully your game launches now. If not, it's possible the 505 rep didn't understand you're not able to launch the game.

    @Unit One you're correct, I'm not able to do this outside of the game. So not looking like I have a lot of options. Still getting the spinning green eye.

    I wouldn't say definitely. You have no way of knowing if the problem will be fixed in the next update. It won't change everything :p
