    Appreciation post for the video game franchise F-Zero. I have been obsessed with it since at least mid-late-2017, stopped playing around late 2019, and returned around mid-2023.

    honestly, even though a lot of people who know about the game prefer Shudder over this, the random rap section in it kinda ruins it for me so i actually prefer Bloody Battle because of that (both are still bangers though, don't get me wrong)

    yeah, there are some things that are like super obscure but not even TV Tropes has it
    that said, i know of one example that Wikipedia has an article on but TV Tropes doesn't have

    jokes aside, it was the last major meme in 2019 (september, which is mid-late), then came 2020 with covid and everything that came with it, and that lasted for like 2 years...

    on my old laptop I'd often check the minimum requirements first while always expecting the RAM to be the issue (old laptop had 4GB... most games need at least 8 these days...)

    i chose most of my characters' and stuffs' looks both because of cool appearance and a valid reason as to why they have said appearance
    majority of robotic MC's body is basically a "shiny vantablack"? that's literally how the material looks like, paint is heavy. however this means he has visual-spectrum stealth in space and at night too

    sometimes i'll have to change up vehicles too
    for example my MC's main spaceplane is ~12.7 m long, which is absolutely TINY for what it is — most fighter jets (it isn't one, it's just styled after them) and similar aircraft are around 16 to 20 m long, so now i gotta increase the size, including those of digital replicas 🫠
