Console 1.4 block switch and temple?

Can you not use the block switch on the temple because if you can then you would be abel to go into the temple by replacing the blocks with dirt and break in if you have a answer please tell me

Block swap is based on the strongest pickaxe in your inventory. If you have a Picksaw, you can blockswap into the Temple.
