(0) It recoils as the ball slams into its head, screeching as the glass on the front cracks further.

The machine begins to float again, lights growing to their original brightness.

It then rips open a portal behind itself, floating in and winding up a good 50 feet away from the group. It just waits.
 
Niyr breathes heavily, glancing at his crystal limb, and then starts thinking...
(Already rolled for his attack before finishing this post and got nat 20 so...)
He would then look up and towards Astraletos, before surging into the air with a strong flap of his wings, gaining altitude before quickly and gracefully flying down towards Astraletos, building speed before opening a portal, appearing to another side of Astraletos. He follows this with another portal, and then another, quickly darting around Astraletos to obscure his final trajectory, forming his crystal leg back into a lance, before finally opening the last portal at point blank range to the cracked glass, aiming his lance right for the worst crack he sees as he attempts to use what magic he can to amplify the effect of his lance as it slams right into the glass.

(7) Astraletos takes multiple poorly aimed swipes, missing Niyr each time.

The final lunge lands the lance through its oculus. The machine is still, shuddering a few times.

With a roaring screech, a massive burst of plasma from the head would hurl Niyr back, likely also incinerating the bottom half of the crystal limb. (13)

The machine would then grip its head, plasma dribbling from the front of its oculus. The head itself seems cracked now.

With a roaring sound, the machine fires a slopping collection of beams from its oculus, looking as if it is pained by the act. These plasma beams would pose a threat to the entire group. (16)
 
Cas knocks the beams back at the machine with her bat and continues to close the distance (14, 18). Once she’s close she leaps into the air, swings a powerful home run at the machine’s head (20).

Niyr's crystal limb would indeed be incinerated, and he'd get hit by a few of Astraletos' followup attacks before he has the chance to recover, just managing to get out of the way of the last few by teleporting some distance back away from the fight. He'd then look at himself and his numerous injuries, before just trying to sit there and slowly regrow the crystal limb back to normal.
 
(7,14) Brambol manages to avoid the blasts, somehow.
(4,11) Fikitt is hit by the first one but the second one doesn't seem to do much.

(11, 3) The machine is hit with both beams, the first grazing its shoulder and making it wobble a bit, and the second hitting something crucial within its chest, as a purple-blue explosion rips out from the inside, some plates flying off to expose.. something in the middle. Some sort of odd glass orb in the midst of the torso, golden rings spinning furiously around a glowing blue speck of light..

(7) The machine is then hammered across the head by the full force of the bat swing.

A loud cracking sound pierces the air as the machine’s arms go towards its head… the glass on it entirely shattered, and the head hanging open on the side. The cords of light connecting the head to the torso are partially split, plasma leaking from them.

With a low groan, it begins to wrap its hands around its shattered head.. fingers crunching the metal as they claw inhumanly at the remains of the visage.

The spears all begin to drop, falling into the portals and not appearing anywhere else…

With a rough yank, the machine tears half of its head off, the warped metal frame falling to the ground with a resonating ringing.

It uncovers its head now.. a small orb of plasma floating within the hollow head. The threads connecting the rest of the thread slowly flicker out as the second half falls to the ground with another thud.

It begins to shed its arms, which fall to the ground one by one with metallic clanking.

“Show them what a god can really do.”

With a groaning, the machine floats low to the ground as a huge purple crack splits below it. Two much larger, but still skeletal and metal arms rip up from the rift, hovering where the others were before.

The machine floats up once again, looking to its now proportionate hands as two massive golden swords, hilts facing up, emerge from the portals on either side.

It grips the blades.. slowly ripping them from the ground, then holding them outwards from its sides.

The orb of light from within the machine begins to make a loud whirring noise as it grows in brightness. The machine rights its posture. The orb of plasma the machine has for a head grows in size and brightness until it shines much like the sun.

With a bone-shaking roar, the machine’s head flares, the air growing hot.

Now, people may have noticed a distinct lack of Xee and G1. And now they may notice a sudden lack of The Hut™ . Perhaps they ran?

Well, considering the giant house currently falling onto Astraletos (15), I'd say no.

It then leans down and fires forwards, near teleporting to the group and raising its blades before unleashing a low slash at the group as a whole, a moving slash of plasma projecting from the blade as it is slashed. (14)

Xee, currently using his propeller hat with G1 holding onto his ankles, sonehow manages to pilot them both out of range. His ankles will remember this.

"INITIATING DEFENSIVE COUNTERATTACK."
G1 then Starts Blasting with some... regular :red: cannons. (2,11)

"COULD YOU AIM ANY WORSE?!"

"SHOOTING IS NOT EASY WHEN I'M HANGING ONTO YOU."

"THEN LET GO ALREADY!"

Niyr just barely manages to fly over the slash in time to avoid being hit.
Once in the air, Niyr turns to look at the being and thinks for a moment while inspecting it.

(8, 21) In another odd moment of stillness, the cannonballs are seemingly diced apart midair.

Suddenly, it seems to.. teleport? Whatever it did, its close to G1 and Xee now.

It puts an arm across its opposite shoulder before winding up and slashing violently in a diagonal upwards cut at the duo. (7)

The force of the slash seems so immense that it has cleaved some sort of.. gash in reality?

Regardless, the thing is unstable, and soon explodes in a trail of plasma a second or so behind the slash. (3)
