Weapons & Equip Cult of the lamb crossover idea: Beads of the anchorite.

The Destroyer
The premise is simple. I don't quite know how'd you would obtain it, all I know is it should probably be pre skeletron, or at least pre wall. The Beads of the anchorite is an accessory which increases damage by 0.5% per town NPC (excluding Santa Claus) this includes everybody on the NPCs wiki page excluding the NPCs that leave and come back every once and a while.
 
If it's pre-Skeletron, that's probably fine. At its strongest, this would reach a 13% damage increase, which is less than an emblem, but in pre-Hardmode you can only reach about a 9 or 10% damage increase, which is a lot but far from unreasonable. You'd ditch it as soon as you beat the Wall, but that's true of a lot of accessories.
 
Oh, I forgot to mention it includes town pets. Which excluding Santa as I said gives you a max 18% damage increase equivalent to the destroyer emblem, while still being effective on summoner builds

That's a less interesting idea. Emblems are already very good and used on most builds, and the vast majority of players get every NPC in their playthroughs. This would just outclass emblems and do little else.
 
Well it gives a reason to get pets/town slime, and I think pets not slimes could use a rework.
 
Also id argue most players wouldn't fish during blood moons or throw a sparkle slime balloon into shimmer OTHER than this item
 
And, even so, you could change it to deal 5 damage per Npc every 5 seconds
 
Or maybe 10 or something, and this idea is more accurate to the in game relic
 
It has to relate to damage otherwise it deviates to much

I thought of a CoTL crossover before, but I didn't have any ideas for it, this is really good though. I think it's balanced as it can't get to be too big of a damage increase, and it encourages exploration, house building, and finding new NPC's.

Maybe if we get the attention of red he might add it in a future update?
 
I've got an idea!
 
You see, the worlds of cotl and terraria are connected via dont starve. So, maybe as a 1 in 5 drop from deerclops, you can get the strange crown.
 
It's description is "this seems it doesn't belong in either this world, or the one  it came from."
 
Maybe wearing it summons the Lamb a VERY powerful boss at close range, but only skeletron scary at long range. The Lamb would most likely drop either op weapons/accessories or it could drop scaling items. It is similar to how duke fishron is able to be challenged before the mech bosses, but is usually fought either post plantera or post golem. Killing them drops the cotl items.
 
You could challenge the Lamb as many times as you want as long as you have the strange crown.

Don’t mess with existing crossover content same reason why old ones haven’t been changed
But the strange crown could perhaps be derived from hell perhaps hardmode hell boss or found in a hell structure ?

So maybe made with hellstone and a new item called demon blood or something because the crowns from cotl are probably made of the ichor (godly blood)
