(hi! im new here and wasnt sure if this should of had the enemies tag or the game mechanics Tag, thought Other might be most fitting)
I have been addicted to Terraria for so many years now, and thought of a pretty neat way of making the background of the world to interact with the game!
Imagine if things like enemies from the background came over to the foreground, for example: the floating eye of Cuthulu boss in the background could progressively get bigger and closer to the foreground as the night of its spawn arrives! etc.
The wall of flesh could have a background wall to move along with it to give it a more WALL look to it than just a moving flat tower
(Edit: much like how the Rayman Origins/Legends Platformer games do their background/foreground effects and mechanics)
