Quite a bit better! The animation's frames are cleaner as well! The only thing you have forgotten is the wispiness at the bottom, but you don't have to do that if you don't feel like it. It looks great already!@excession how's this now?

I don't mean transparent, I mean kind of like purple fire that flames down instead of up, but it doesn't have to be animated. It would look like he's dissipating into nothing.
(If you go back and check the reference picture I drew you'll see what I mean)
