Xbox One Game Stuck on Converting Worlds

I haven't played in a while and recently installed Terraria. After the cloud sync process, the next screen won't load past Converting Worlds. I waited for hours, tried restarting, and tried reinstalling. Also tried another Xbox One.

I had many hours in the game so does anyone have any suggestions?

Interestingly every time I check the save file it keeps getting larger. It’s been hours an it’s at 19MB now.

What’s the estimated save file size? I think I only had one world, maybe two.

There is a trick to moving saves from xbox 360 to xbox one. The saves have to go into the same slot number. Example. The world you want to migrate from your 360 is in world slot no3, you have to place it into world slot 3 on your xbox one. Same thing applies to characters.

This doesn’t save your worlds but as a last resort you can delete both the cloud save and the hard drive save in game management and that will at least get it working again. This doesn’t save your worlds though so try other methods first
