“That’s true. You can forfeit if you want.”

*Zoe returns her Gliscor to its Pokeball*

Theta starts heading to the Pokémon center.

 

[Champion Greninjoid]

*Zoe goes too, since her Krookodile will need healing*

 

[Streyll]

Theta walks over to the counter once he arrives.

 

[Champion Greninjoid]

“Do you want me to heal your- You’re back again?”

 

[Streyll]

"Yeah."
Theta hands over his Pokémon.

 

[Champion Greninjoid]

“…”
*She puts them on the healing machine again*

 

[Streyll]

Theta looks around to see if Asher is nearby while waiting.

 

[Champion Greninjoid]

*He’s still at the battlefield.*
*Zoe’s waiting behind Theta*

 

[Streyll]

Theta looks at Zoe.
"So, why the ground types?"

 

[Champion Greninjoid]

“Well, I want to become an Elite 4 member, and to be one you have to have a type specialty. And Ground is my favorite.”

 

[Streyll]

"Alright. And how is that going?"

 

[Champion Greninjoid]

“Pretty well, actually. I’m actually in this region on a break from a training seminar I’m doing. It’s led by an Elite 4 member from another region, and at the end the strongest trainer there gets a chance at a position in the Elite 4 in that region since the person running the seminar’s retiring. I’m currently the top contender since I’ve gotten the highest scores in the battle drills we’ve been doing, plus the one running the seminar is also a Ground specialist so I’d be a good fit.”

 

[Streyll]

"Alright, good luck then."

 

[Champion Greninjoid]

“Thanks.”

“Sir, your Pokémon are fully healed.”

 

[Streyll]

"Oh, yeah."
Theta takes his Pokémon, then leaves to go look for Asher.
