I played Terraria many times and want keep playing it but...

Lets just say, I want remove all my characters and maps to start from zero.

Just in case I saved the file in a different folder BUT i dont think its a good idea to start playing or creating new worlds right now because the future Desert Upgrade, this means if I start spending time and effort on a world that will get outdated there is no point to even starting it. I will miss all the new features related to map generator and creating more worlds to play with characters you have already stuff is not fun at all.

So I want play terraria right now but if you love building stuff you know that past moon lord will take time and effort so its not worth it. People usually likes having his worlds updated with the last version to have all the features.

So what you guys think about this drama? Ofc If you have much more time and motivation you can start right now and play many days in a row but idk the time for the next patch.

Bear in mind that the Underground Desert update is set for 1.3.3. Cenx estimated 1.3.2 to hit within the month, so that would give you one definite month of playing time, and I would personally estimate another two at the very least until 1.3.3 arrives. All in all, I'd say you have at least three months until the Desert update hits, which is plenty to get past the Moon Lord (multiple times, even).

So yeah, just go for it!

@ComandosP2P : If you want something neat and fun to do, you could try Adventure Maps (Down the Well, Tales of the Terrarian) or you could try this map which I am doing now:

I've had a lot of fun with this map and it completely changes how you approach the game, if you actually follow the rules.

Shameless plug: You can find my playthrough of that map here: http://forums.terraria.org/index.php?threads/oxygen-challenged-terrarian-1-3-1.45501/
