Hey! Someone got the reference! I was hoping someone would eventually get it. I guess I need to go comb the desert for more references.Nice reference, I see what you did there. Feel the power of the schwartz!

Sigh.Haha
Haha, I am big on puns and references! You rock!
As far as more references go, just watch old or classic movies lol.
I know I'm "Terrable"
Pun totally intended.
But... they can release android first... they have the problem with apple.. not android... its not android's fault that apple is so messed up, punish them (apple users) not us!(android users), and people in general would even be satisfied by fixing the 15-25 periodic crash, its annoying af and it erases stuffWell, not sure what to say that hasn't already been said:
- Bugs were found, bugs that needed to be fixed.
- That takes time to do. More time than expected.
- Such is game development.
I totally get the frustration and the desire for things to come sooner.
Not making excuses, just saying that is how game development works...and also why so many Devs (505 included) are so loathe to give launch dates or windows unless they are certain of them.
It's the never ending catch-22, that dynamic.
Regardless, I would say that people being hungry for the new stuff is never a bad thing - so I'll never rain on that feeling. Wish I could give you more - but I'm not a programmer nor is it my place. I do get the sense that it shouldn't be too much longer though...
All that said, calling people lazy and/or implying somehow anyone is sitting on anything is just silly, though. A lot of time has been spent - rightfully so - in stabilizing the existing game (tons of progress there, with more still to go of course) in parallel to developing this content. Perhaps that combined to create the gap you perceive...but I have to say it was time well spent.
Just my two cents.
Did you not get what loki just said? Bugs happen too ya know! They need to kill bugs that keep popping up. They will be done soon!I assume that they are not worried about theterraria mobile updates. I have been in the programming side almost 2 years not much I know but I can almost ensure that this much time it's enough for a complete update of Terraria and they all ready have :
- sprites
- game psychics
- items stats
So they only ( by only I mean one part but I know it's alot) need to translate the code they all ready have so mobile devices can read it and we all know app development for mobile devices ( at least android) of quite flexible about the programming language. I am really upset about the effort 505 games put in a game with this much people following it I can almost say the same for consoles, maybe in mobile devices they have problems with making the game to run in low spec devices but what about consoles, I think that counts not be a problem.
English it's not my natal language, I hope I explained my self.
[DOUBLEPOST=1448872908,1448872627][/DOUBLEPOST]I forgot to mention that the code also needs some modification because of the touch controls but it's still to much time for it
Not everyone has a friend they can do that with. Once they fix the glitch then they won't have to worry about it again and there will be updates more frequentlyI have an idea so you do not lose ITEMS. Because the worlds are doomed.
1- Have a friend that plays Terraria.
2- Give him your items.
3- Update the game.
4- Enter his world and get your items
5- Do the same with him.
6- Enjoy!

505games, could you like, uhm, give us an update on what you are doing now?, WE PAID for this, and we have the right to know what you were doing for the past 11 months instead of fixing 1, ONE single glitch
Agreed that both should be addressed. Again, though, with crashes there is nearly never "a crash bug" - its usually a litany of things from user side to device issues to actual game code bugs. I know progress has been made there...with always more possible (and that is being pursued)....so we will see. The notion of "never crashes ever" is likely unobtainable. Literally every app I have ever owned has crashed from time to time....its stamping out the "regular or repeatable" crashes that has to be the goal. If that makes any sense....lol
Just my two cents of course - 505 would have all of the gory details.
