It makes the rest of it small by comparison.bigger teeth + more teeth = looks less threatening = what?
They're fictional creatures, they're supposed to look fake.Your eaters have far to high a color contrast. They look fake.
By fake, I did not mean fictional. I can't imagine it as a real creature, but the old ones I can. They're fictional creatures, they're supposed to look fake.
Vast improvement on the original, bravo! I'd like to see this as a texture pack.I made the mandibles a bit less exaggerated and more jagged.

One of the things I like more about the original eater of worlds is that all it's eyes face forwards...I made the mandibles a bit less exaggerated and more jagged.

since I really like what I did with the jaw, I just made the back biggerIt makes the rest of it small by comparison.
Also:
You have most certainly pinched the back.
Also, you could just widen the mandibles already there.
The mouth area is fine.
really? I think it would look cool artistically when they face the fourth wall. One of the things I like more about the original eater of worlds is that all it's eyes face forwards...
IMO, that looks much better.since I really like what I did with the jaw, I just made the back bigger

it's subject to improvement for personal standards, but I'm sure you would think this alone is still better than the midget version
I agree, makes it look like it's hunting for you, not staring off into space. One of the things I like more about the original eater of worlds is that all it's eyes face forwards...
True, true.I agree, makes it look like it's hunting for you, not staring off into space.
what I think would be better, but not necessarily viable, is if the eyes were counted a separate entities (just floating on top of the segment sprite) the point to this is so that they eyes can directly stare at you and keep vision locked on you.I agree, makes it look like it's hunting for you, not staring off into space.

I feel like the purple hue suit the corruption better than the brown. that's remaining.Eater of Souls:Needs to be browner, make the mandibles less wide.Looks fine after the changes but it could be less purple.
Eater of Worlds: Needs to be browner.
Corrupter: Needs to be browner, make the mandibles less wide, make the green in the eye darker.
Red Slime: Why is it brownish-green?
Blue Slime: Why is there reddish-purple in the bottom left?
Green Slime: Needs to be less yellow, it looks like a Jungle Slime.
Black Slime: Fine.
It just needs to be more scaly.
that will take a ton of work, so not any time soon.It just needs to be more scaly.
It's like the blue and black shirt. Or is it white and gold?!as for the slimes.. I can't do much about the slimes. to some people the red looks too red, and to some it looks brown. I'm not sure what to do about that. Similar arguments apply to all of them.
Yeah.that will take a ton of work, so not any time soon.
I guess.I made a scaly one, may I post it, Scarecrow?
