Blocks & Decoration Lava Lamps and Plasma Balls: Cool and Colourful Light Sources

Lava Lamps could be sold by the Traveling Merchant for 50 silver each in Pre-Hardmode. They appear orangey normally, but can be combined with everything torches can be conbined with, and change the colour of the background to match them when right-clicked.

Now here's the interesting part. In hardmode, the Traveling Merchant could sell Plasma Balls. Plasma Balls only appear in purple, but they cause everything around them to appear slightly darker, except for the plasma it's self. They also occasionally send out little "shocks" that hurt enemies standing near them, and cause little bursts of purple light.

Not a bad idea. Small little decoration. The Plasma Ball could be like a permanent turret. Tower Defense in Terraria!

I dunno if they come in different colors or anything. I've only seen a red one so far...

You can certainly also paint the current lava lamp to be whatever color you want.

Not to mention that painting them doesn't change the colour of the light emitted from them. And there's no ability to chnge the background colour.
