So, I think I just found a bug with the Lightning Aura Rod (LA-Rod), and I'm wondering if anyone else has found this before:
During the Old One's Army, you can't place new sentries inside of the radius of the aura, but you can place the LA-Rod sentry over other sentries if you have the floor space for it. I just tried the event for the first time, and was trying to find the optimum spacing for them.
I've measured the minimum gap between 2 LA-Rod sentries to be 10 blocks between the sentries. Unfortunately, this only applies for adding new LA Rod sentries on the right side of a preexisting one. If you try to add one to the left of a preexisting LA Rod sentry, there has to be an 11-block gap between them.
I haven't checked if this applies for adding other sentries outside of the aura, but this still feels like it shouldn't be happening. I'm currently pre-hardmode, so I can't check the LA-Cane or the LA-Staff. This only seems to be occurring during the Old One's Army event, since there isn't a placement proximity limit outside the event. Can someone else check please this with the hardmode upgrades and see if this is a persisting issue?
