You don't know how. You don't know why. You passed out for seemingly no reason, and now you're here.
A grassland that stretches on forever, with the occasional forests, ponds, and lakes. Animals appear to live here, too.
There is no real day/night cycle. Sometimes, the sun turns into the moon, and vice versa. Neither move, they just stay overhead.
Life is like this forever, or is it?
You must find a way out. But you cannot do it alone, can you?
This is where limbo begins.

No god modding.
Combat uses a D20 format, similar to other roleplays. However, you can request to change your dice format at any time (Min 5 Max 120)
No insanely overpowered characters.
Follow TCF rules.
Don't cheat in combat, it'll ruin the fun.
Don't make OCs specifically as an addon to another OC.
You can have as many OCs as you can handle.
Have fun! (I specifically demand it)

At any point, in underground/hidden areas, the DM/people entrusted with the ability to summon chests can make your character find one. The loot tends to be useful, with certain items being rarer than others. I may or may not make a table of items, their usage & their "rarity".
Whilst underground, you're very likely to find ores. The DM/people entrusted with the ability to summon ores can make your character find one. They all have different names and abilities, and to find out about that, you must find a Geologist's Guide to Rocks (Either a normal or the rarer "limited edition" variant), which is common loot from chests. Usually it'll be in the first chest someone without one finds whilst underground, as I only made it as an IC way for the names/uses of the ores to be discovered.
Rooted Corruption is an infection of sorts that can take control of most sentient beings, essentially possessing them and making them act more aggressively and attempt to corrupt other beings around them when possible. It mainly spreads through projectiles (Primarily magic projectiles), but has other ways to corrupt as well, the most common being a spike of pure corrupted energy. These hurt really badly if the target is immune to the corruption.
Known cures are, among others, special materials when used for weapons, fully upgraded Light Magic (Radiant Magic), and a water imbuement given by Falchion.
Temporary cures (mostly used for stalling until a proper cure is available) include the other forms of light magic (Standard, Crystalized, and Mirage), the Hallow’s power, and Fairy-type Pokémon moves. Technically it’s possible to resist the corruption’s effects, but this should always be done carefully to avoid losing control of one’s actions entirely until cured.
It is not related to Terraria’s corruption biome. It hates being associated with the corruption and considers it pathetic.
There’s a central hivemind that gives out orders when needed, and each corrupted being has its own thoughts and can communicate with the victim’s own mind.
Corrupted areas seem to be completely dark all the time, like a Minecraft lighting bug hit the area.
OOC: Players can choose to make their characters immune if they wish to do so, just know that corrupted attacks will deal increased damage if they choose the option.
It’s recommended to have a slightly different text color while corrupted, it’s the player’s choice whether to make it lighter or darker than their usual color. (Personally I lighten it when possible, only darkening if the usual color is already bright.)
Permission is to be asked before infecting or curing, to account for possible plans a player may have involving a character being corrupted at a specific time/for a specific amount of time.
It's fine to have a character auto-dodge attacks that would corrupt or cure at the wrong time. Just state why the roll is being skipped.
On corruption, a roll for resistance can be made (recommended with D20). At a 1, the victim is in no way capable of even influencing their actions while corrupted. At a 20, it’s the other way around and the corruption can’t do anything.

OOC - Limbo. OOC thread
[Due to problems with extreme length, the OC list has been removed. If you want to make a list of your OCS here, feel free to make a master post!]
