(What does it menan that you don't roll for offence? Do I just say how many times Tethin shoots and you roll for defence like I did with Tethin and the shockwave?)

*(16) Tethin rolls with the shockwave, not getting harmed. He runs over to Esther.*
*Upon seeing Esther getting attacked by Malis' laser, he stands in between her and Malis, ready to take whatever punishment he can dish out. He turns and speaks over his shoulder to Esther.*
"I'm with ya my friend, it looks like you can use a few extra hands."
*He turns and fires at Malis again, cycling the lever and letting the red blast bolt rocket toward Malis.*

"Thanks..."
Esther starts setting up a new barrage of stars, hiding each star behind her shield.
(D10: 7)
The barrier blocks the red blast.

 

[Cream Starlight]

(D10: 2 - 0.5 = 1.5)
Malis takes a noticeable hit from the whip, but retaliates with three void bolts all aimed at Starfall. (These, due to Pen having put a power lock on Malis in this RP, can deal a maximum of 2 points of damage in your soul system)
(D10: 5 - 3 = 2, 9 - 3 = 6)
The bonk briefly stuns him, but he blocks the kick with a crystal, which launches dark energy at Xueqing.
(D10: 4 - 2.5 total = 1.5)
And the arrows pierce through the armor and hit Malis. He seems pained from the hit, and summons two orbs that both fire a laser at Bright.

[17, 9]
Starfall has dodged the first bolt, but the second hit her, and it's causing her a chest pain.
"Ack- ow..."

"Starfall!!"
[20+5 wow] Xueqing manages to reflect the energy back with some special attributes of her umbrella [Penalty: what about his own taste], and runs to check out Starfall.
(Tp 13.2+4=17.2)
"I'm fine... not a big deal." Starfall gives a thumb up, then whips Malis again. [Penalty: -0.5]
Xueqing nods. She is too distracted to attack.
(Stargazer: 5)

[10, 15] Bright barely misses the first, and swiftly gets to the right, avoiding the second.
(Tp 17.2+2.5=19.7)
Then, he shoots at Malis again, two at once. [Penalty: -1.5 and various]

Xueqing manages to reflect the energy back with some special attributes of her umbrella [Penalty: what about his own taste]

The barrier takes moderate damage from the energy.

Starfall gives a thumb up, then whips Malis again. [Penalty: -0.5]

The barrier nearly shatters from this. Malis seems to be getting ready for when it does.

She dashes forward, and attempts to pierce Malis with a strong blow. She doesn't lose her guard on upcoming attack, though.

Target also hops in with tremendous speed [Spd. 16x3=48], hitting Xueqing and giving her a painful boost. This sure enhances her performance, though.

The attack does in fact pierce Malis as he gets up... but it also puts her in range for a point-blank dark energy blast. Despite this, he seems very exhausted.

(All I'm talking about here is D20 now and you can subtract by 2 to fit in your D10)
(Xueqing's Supernova initially gives her +10 boost for one attack, meaning that it BOOMS.)
(She gets a +2 from Stargazer at this point)
(Assuming she has full health of 2560, she needs to sacrifice half her HP for that, and because of 1 boost per 300 Hp it sums up to +16)
(If she has slept with Bright beforehand and has 3840HP, the boost actually rise to +18)
(bam, -9 for you)
(Yeah pretty much an autofail)

Bright realizes that things seems wrong, so he stays back until he's next to Xueqing (who Target just put down), and gets in a defensive stance.

Malis summons 7 orbs, which launch a fast laser at each active participant (Esther, Dusk, Tethin, Bright, Starfall, Target and Xueqing). He then tries to blast Esther and Dusk by teleporting behind them and casting an energy blast, before teleporting back, creating a curved blade made out of dark energy, and throwing it at Tethin.
He stands there for a while to catch his breath... then disappears. And doesn't reappear.
(D10: 5 for laser, 2 - 2 = 0 for energy blast)
Esther blocks the laser with her shield, if barely, but doesn't turn around in time for the energy blast, getting sent flying before she blasts herself into the ground with her wind magic (Slowing her fall before impact to avoid hurting herself). She seems weakened.
(2 (Laser), 6 (Energy blast))
Dusk gets hit by the laser due to its speed, but rolls out of the way of the energy blast. She's exhausted, but not too badly hurt.
(Battle over... for now at least. Sorry for anyone who wanted to participate more, and to everyone that was going to participate but couldn't due to timezones. I just don't want to drag this out when Malis is in fact pretty badly injured from getting teamed on like that. There will be future battles against him where the people this applies to should be able to participate, and to help with that I might un-archive my health system for one of those battles.)
