Other Multiplayer no ipv4 solution

Terrarian
Greetings,

I'm a fairly enthusiastic Terraria player, to the point where I've bought about 5 copies and distributed them to friends. Now I would like to host a server to play together with them. My problem there is, that i don't have a public ipv4 address, and steam play has serious lag issues.

My suggestion then, is to make connecting to servers via ipv6 protocol possible. This would solve a lot of port forwarding and general confusion issues, as well as make Terraria ready for the future, since the ipv4 situation is only going to get more complicated.

I'm aware of workarounds like hamachi or dual stack connection, but they increase either monetary or time investment, and we all know how much people prefer when things "just work".

Thank you for your attention.

There are increasingly more connections, where you only have a private ipv4 address. All outgoing traffic is ipv6 and is converted to ipv4 by the provider if necessary. This also means i can't directly connect to my home network with the external ipv4.
