The Owler

Living Tree
Greetings everyone! I have another suggestion for y'all, and this one's quite fun.
(I saw @Battle Bee making a very similar post, so I'll give a link to it here.)
You most likely already saw the title, so let's begin.

New Lunar Event Weapons
So yeah, most of the Lunar Event weapons before Moon Lord are quite good even after he's defeated.
But it's been almost five years now, and I think some new weapons are long overdue.
Basically, I've added a new weapon to each pillar,
Solar, Nebula, Vortex, and Stardust.
(Each weapon is crafted with 18 of their specific fragment.)
Enjoy.

Binary Star
BinaryStar.png

Damage: 210 melee damage
Knockback: 6.5 (Strong)
Critical chance: 4%
Use time: 40 (Very Slow)
Velocity: 15.9
Creates solar flare projectiles to attack nearby enemies
Tooltip: "Melt your foes with double the firepower!"

A duel-headed hothead of a mace that will bake your enemies to smithereens.
"But wait!" You might ask, "Doesn't the Solar Pillar already have a flail weapon?"
Not entirely. The Solar Eruption is a "launched flail", which means it has no physics and is unaffected by gravity.
Meanwhile, "thrown flails" are affected by gravity (although this flail will have an anti-gravity attack too), and have special mechanics that other weapon types do not.

The Binary Star creates two mace projectiles that are the same size (despite the sprite not showing that).
When swung around the player, the maces are swung opposite of each other in the same direction, a bit like the double edged scythes from Thorium.
When the flail is thrown, the maces release solar flare projectiles that fly in one direction towards the closest enemy, going through blocks.
When they fall to the ground, they gain zero-gravity properties, floating around until they are reeled back in.

Nebula Vaporwave (Color Code: #D84CDB)
NebulaVaporwave.png

Damage: 120 magic damage
Knockback: 4 (Weak Knockback)
Critical chance: 4%
Use time: 22 (Fast)
Mana: 30
Velocity: 5 (Speeds up to 8)
Extra updates: 2
Fires inaccurate vaporwaves
Changes the background when held for long enough
Tooltip: "/music plays"

Yep. This is a thing now. I doubt anyone reading this for the first time saw this coming.
Anyway, the Nebula Vaporwave fires vaporwave projectiles that start slowly but begins increasing speed as they travel further (sort of like the Demon Scythe).
These vaporwaves home in towards enemies, exploding on impact into vapor particles and plays a vaporwave-like sound. It shoots the projectiles quickly, but is
more inaccurate then the Gatligator.

When held, the eye slightly twinkles (like from Yoraiz0r's Spell), and after 30 consecutive seconds of being held,
the background will slowly gain a purple haze and the sun / moon will turn into a vaporwave-like sun (This can be turned off in the settings).

The item itself is an obvious reference to the popular music video / Internet meme:
MACINTOSH PLUS-Lisa Frank 420 / Modern Computing | (reupload) by ChocolateGinger,
including the statue's head from the video with a glowing pink eye.

Blackhole Cannon
BlackholeCannon.png

Damage: 65 ranged damage
Knockback: 7 (Strong)
Critical chance 4%
Use time: 20 (Very Fast)
Velocity: 16
Uses ammo: Rockets
66% chance to not consume ammo
Tooltip: "Annihilate your enemies with the power of a singularity!"

This is a fun one.
The Blackhole Cannon charges up for a little less then a second, before continuously shooting a spreadshot of rockets, while only consuming one.
These rockets do not harm you, but slightly home in on enemies.

Ever so often it fires an Inactive Gravimine projectile that does not obey gravity and floats in the air.

After a few seconds, it activates and sucks up nearby enemies.
The Gravimine explodes after it sucks up a certain amount of them, or a minute passes. This is quite good for events.

The Blackhole Cannon's name is based off of the Vortex Beater's original name, the "Blackhole Beater".

Stardust Sparkwhip

Damage: 240 summon damage
Knockback: 6 (Average)

Use time: 30 (Average)
Velocity: 9
20 summon tag damage
Summons stardust sparks when striking an enemy
Your summons will focus struck enemies
Damage reduced by 10% each hit in a single swing
Tooltip: "Spark like lightning!"

The Stardust Sparkwhip creates Stardust Sparks when you strike an enemy. These sparks have similar AI to the Star Cell;
hovering in place for a moment before homing in onto an enemy, exploding on contact and dealing 20 splash damage. The sparks fly off the enemy when struck.
