I wanted to post to my first thread, but it had a bunch of old art I'm not that proud of anymore, so here's a new one!

Firstly, some decently old art of some item concepts! The gem swords aren't really the best, but I thought it was a nifty concept, even if it's useless due to the Phaseblades existing.
Those accesories are way too overpowered, but I thought it was fun to make them anyways. The Brain of Shield is kind of meant to look like Cthulhu, but I didn't really make it clear when I drew it, maybe I can make it more obvious while giving it a better name!

Secondly, here's some Pumpking resprite I might get around to finishing one day! I think I started working on this for a Calamity Community texture pack, but ended up not going through with it.

This is kind of a silly idea, but here's the Flame Shield from Sonic 3! It mostly looks like the one from Sonic Mania, but the shield itself was born in Sonic 3, so I'm going with that
Also, this one's a mockup because i wanted to make the fire transparent lol

Extremely silly concept, but here's blood moon varients for the gold bunny! Might be a bit silly for them to be made of demonite and crimtane, but I thought it was neat!

This time the art's something recent! Wanted every torch to have a campfire varient, so I made them! The shadow campfire is here too because I thought it would look cool. Might redo some of the gem campfires so they're not all just recolors, but I think it's fine for now.

That's all for now, I'll pop in with more art, whenever that happens, and maybe flesh out whatever could be decent concepts!

Wow, more art! Crazy!
This kinda started off as "what if hardmode introduced new gems along with the ores?" So I made a small handful! Was gonna draw the staves and robes to go with them, but maybe I'll do that later xd

About the Shield of Confusion, it definitely can’t just be Brain + Shield. I do have an idea, though.

Wicked Mechanical Shard + Boned Mechanical Shard + Bone Glove + Worm Scarf = Glove of the Worm

All-Seeing Mechanical Shard + Boned Mechanical Shard + SoC + Bone Glove = Glove of Cthulhu

Here's a collection of some chests, I wanted to resprite a bunch of them to make them not recolors of the original chest, with the ice and living wood fitting in with their furniture sets a little bit more. Plus stone and platinum chests for the heck of it.

And here's a bunch of slimes! Definitely one of my favorite groups of enemies ever. For the town slimes, I wanted each of them to be different kinds of slime after I hatched the genius idea to make the cool slime into and ice slime, but sadly I don't think the rest can be as good of an idea as that one.

Might turn all of these into a texture pack at some point, I feel like I have to do a bit more before releasing these into the world, like chest opening animations, and respriting the rest of the slimes.

i love them!!! they all look so good. you're right, cool slime into ice slime is peak, and i love the diva slime.

Oh almost everything lmao, I definitely need to do more work on these before I feel like adding them to a mod though, like spriting gem staves, robes and torches, and making a full stone furniture set. But maybe that's just me being a perfectionist lol
